Okay, so it can be declared that I suck. I have no real updates. I’m sorry. Things have just been hectic lately. Last week I was busy celebrating my 22nd birthday, and then this week I’ve been busy with school, and on top of that, I’ve been sick and I think my muse ran off to join the circus.
I have been working on Distorted Blessings. I have a good start, and I think I have things figured out and work through my block, but I still have quite a bit to add to this chapter, so please just hang in there! I’m going to try to get the chapter finished up this weekend. I really have to kick things up now because I only have a month before NaNo, and I want Distorted Blessings finished by then, so that is going to be a challenge in itself.
Anyway, I thought I would refer you to a few places to check out in the meantime. 🙂
Nikki has updated Comfort Zone, and if you haven’t read it yet, you definitely should go do that and leave her some love.
Becca has opened a recommendation site. She’s just got started so there’s not many recommendations, but you can suggest some stories for her to read.
Taye has just started a new story called Forget the Memories, and it has an interesting start. And also her story Suspicious Minds is getting interesting as well. Leave her some love.
The gang at Steam has also updated.
For my birthday, Becca gave me the ultimate surprise. She created not one, but two fanlistings for me. The first one is for me – the webmistress. You can find that fanlistings here. And the second is for aloneinthepretense.org, and it can be found here, so if you’re a fan of this domain, please go join! And if you even like me just a little bit, join the other one as well. I will love you forever and ever. 😉
Also for my birthday I got a new domain. Glimmering-Girl.org. It replaced Broken Inside as my new personal/graphic site, so if you ever wonder where I am or what’s going on, you can go there to find out. Leave me some love while you’re there too. Please and thank you. 🙂
And last but not least, check out Eve’s creation, If Hanson Wore Blue Collars. She managed to bring together a group of really excellent writers – some who have been out of the game for a while – for this project. I’ve only got to read a few of them, but what I have read is amazing. And all of the stories are illustrated by the amazingly talented Lily Fox.
Also, this is something of a coming out thing for me. I wrote something for If Hanson Wore Blue Collars. You won’t find my name on the site though because I wrote it under a pen name. I’m not going to tell what it is, but if you use a process of elimination, you should be able to figure it out pretty easily. And I’ll just warn you that it’s probably not something you would expect from me. 😉 Happy hunting!
And before I forget, thank you to everyone who signed the guestbook the last time. I will try to have something new for you to read this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed! 🙂
